Custom Furniture Commissions

When a project requires a singular, stand-alone piece, we apply the same bench-made techniques used in our cabinetry to create heirloom-quality furniture.

  • Unique Commissions: Dining tables, desks, and statement pieces built to your specific aesthetic and wood species preference.

  • Hand-Selected Hardwoods: We source the finest lumber, ensuring grain matching and structural stability in every piece.

  • The Family Touch: Every piece is a collaboration, built by our family to be passed down through yours.

Bespoke Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry

At Atlas, "custom" isn’t a marketing term—it’s our manufacturing standard. We don't use stock sizes, and we never use fillers to make things fit. Every cabinet is engineered to the fraction of an inch to maximize your space and design.

  • Signature Construction: Traditional doweled face-frames or sleek European-style frameless cabinetry.

  • Premium Drawer Boxes: 100% through-dovetail joinery for a lifetime of structural integrity.

  • High-End Hardware: Equipped with soft-close, self-close undermount guides and concealed hinges for silent, effortless operation.

  • Material Integrity: Built exclusively from solid wood and furniture-grade plywood. No particle board and zero outsourced components.

Architectural Interiors & Millwork

We provide the custom details that elevate a space from standard to exceptional. We work closely with architects and designers to execute complex interior visions that cannot be found in a hardware store.

  • Reproduction Millwork: Custom ground knives to match existing millwork.

  • Custom Trim & Moulding: Unique profiles milled in-house to match historic patterns or modern concepts.

  • Built-ins & Paneling: Precision-fit libraries, mudrooms, and wainscoting integrated perfectly with your home's architecture.

Professional Installation: Precision from Shop to Home.

The finest cabinetry and millwork are only as good as the hands that install them. At Atlas Cabinet Shop LLC, we ensure the precision achieved at the workbench is carried through to the final reveal.

  • Expertise: For most projects, our own team—the same craftsmen who built your project—handles the installation.

  • Quality Network: For specialized or large-scale installs, we partner with a select network of local expert carpenters who share our "Atlas Standard."

  • Reliability: We work cleanly and efficiently, coordinating with your general contractor to ensure a perfect fit that respects your home's architecture.

Custom Solid Wood Doors

We specialize in handcrafted doors built to withstand the elements and the test of time. We don't use thin, store-bought veneers; we engineer our doors for maximum structural stability and lasting beauty.

  • Advanced Joinery: All of our doors are constructed using floating mortise and tenon joinery, providing superior strength and allowing for natural wood movement without compromising the frame.

  • Interior Passage Doors: Built using solid lumber with specialized lamination techniques to ensure every door remains straight, true, and balanced.

  • Exterior Entry Doors: Engineered for the harsh conditions using staved core construction finished with shop-made 1/4" thick veneers. This premium method prevents warping and provides the look of solid wood with significantly better performance.

  • Finish Options: To suit your project's timeline and needs, we offer our doors either completely pre-finished in-house or finish-ready for your on-site painters.

  • Architectural Flexibility: Built to any custom opening, including oversized entries, arched tops, or non-standard thicknesses.
